Dry socket – the most common complication after extraction
If a clot does not form in the socket after tooth extraction, the bone is exposed and exposed to environmental factors.
The symptom of a dry socket is sharp and unpleasant jaw pain that may radiate to adjacent tissues.

The ailments are very easy to eliminate, but it should be done in the office by applying special medications.
When and what to eat after tooth extraction?
Tissues after extraction are very sensitive to injuries, so soft, liquid foods are recommended for 24 hours after removal.
As long as the anesthesia works and we feel numbness of the tongue and cheeks, we should not eat any food.
You can return to your normal diet 3-4 days after the procedure.
If the procedure was performed under general anesthesia, we should follow the anesthesiologist’s recommendations.
Can infection occur after tooth extraction and what are the symptoms?
During tooth extraction, blood vessels open and some bacteria from the oral cavity can enter the bloodstream.
To prevent this, it is important to sanitize the oral cavity before tooth extraction.
This can be done, for example, by scaling and sandblasting.
Symptoms of infection after tooth extraction may include pain, fever, and swelling of the cheek.
You will then need antibiotic therapy.
How long will facial symmetry be disturbed?
If there is swelling after tooth extraction, it may persist for several days, sometimes trismus may occur and then the dentist will prescribe an antibiotic.
