What is worth eating to enjoy it for years?
We ask Dr. Urszula Leończak from Warsaw Dental Center about it.

The first step in dealing with oral problems is cleaning your teeth from tartar and plaque, and the simplest treatment to beautify your smile is whitening.
However, only if we undergo it under the supervision of a dentist, we can guarantee that we will not avoid damaging the enamel.
Note: Bleachorexia, a disorder involving too frequent teeth whitening, is becoming more and more common.
To avoid excessive whitening, use the advice of professionals.

There is a myth that to get a more beautiful smile, it is better to remove all teeth and insert implants.
Of course it is
possible, but you must remember to use the advice of the best prosthetists who will make it look natural.
If we choose crowns, veneers or implants, their durability is 10-15 years with regular visits to the dentist and hygiene treatments.
Beautiful teeth are the result
daily care at home, a balanced diet and consultations with a specialist.
And when our teeth are healthy, we will not lose the smile on our faces.
DIET FOR BEAUTIFUL TEETH
COFFEE AND TEA cause discoloration, reducing the whitening effect.
CARBONATED DRINKS AND JUICES
contain very large amounts of sugar, which increase the risk of developing tooth decay.
Additionally, their acidic reaction causes erosion, i.e. damage to the enamel.
This leads to increased sensitivity and discoloration of the teeth.
It’s better to eat CHOCOLATE that will be washed away by your saliva than CHIPS stuck between your teeth.
RED WINE, which contains a large amount of dye, may change the color of teeth, and white wine with a low pH may damage the enamel.
The appearance of our teeth is also negatively affected by LARGE AMOUNT OF SOY SAUCE, BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND CURRY.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR SMILE BEAUTIFUL FOR LONGER?
Brush your teeth after every meal.
If you consume acidic drinks, such as juice or Coca-Cola, wait 15 minutes before brushing because you risk wearing down the enamel.
The most important thing is washing in the evening, because during sleep the amount of saliva secreted decreases, so the risk of caries increases.
Use dental floss or mouthwash several times a day.
Do not chew gum for longer than 20 minutes, otherwise you risk hypertrophy of the masticatory muscles and problems with the temporomandibular joint.
Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, as they not only increase the risk of cancer, but also cause discoloration and bad breath.
Have regular check-ups with your dentist and also perform preventive treatments
