Our priority is to save your tooth, but when the tooth damage is so extensive that it cannot be repaired, extraction may be necessary.
Moreover, wisdom teeth often need to be removed to make room in the jaw or improve oral health.
Our clinic specializes in comfortable, high-quality care – including tooth extractions for all age groups. If you think you might need a tooth removed, contact us today to schedule a consultation.
Step 1: Consultation
The first stage involves the dentist assessing the condition of the tooth and oral cavity to understand the reasons for the extraction and discuss possible treatment options.
Step 2: Diagnostics
Performing necessary examinations, such as X-rays, to accurately assess the position of the tooth, the condition of the roots, and the proximity of anatomical structures.
Step 3: Treatment Planning
Developing an individual plan for tooth removal, including choosing the appropriate extraction method (simple or surgical) depending on the complexity of the case.
Step 4: Anesthesia
Before the procedure begins, the patient receives local anesthesia to ensure the procedure is completely painless.
Step 5: Tooth Removal
The dentist gently removes the tooth, using techniques that minimize discomfort and risk to the patient.
Step 6: Postoperative Care
The patient receives instructions for postoperative care, including dietary recommendations, oral hygiene, and ways to alleviate pain and swelling.
Step 7: Post-Treatment Checkup
Scheduling a follow-up visit after the extraction to ensure the healing process is proceeding correctly and there are no complications.
At Warsaw Dental Center, we ensure that every stage of the tooth extraction is carried out with the utmost care, using advanced techniques and materials, providing patients with effective and stress-free treatment.
Yes! We work with patients of all ages who need wisdom teeth removal. Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed. We will help you understand if wisdom teeth removal is important for your long-term health and well-being.
We will ensure that you are fully numbed and comfortable during the procedure. We can prescribe pain medication for you to take after the surgery. You can also use an ice pack to alleviate any discomfort in the day or two following the procedure.
After the surgery, you will need to rest. If anesthesia was administered, you must be driven home by a friend or family member. At the end of the operation, we will place gauze, which you will need to change periodically. If bleeding continues for more than 24 hours, call us. Rest when you get home, but avoid lying flat as this may prolong bleeding. Instead, prop a pillow under your head.
